Monzo is a bank located in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2015, Monzo was one of the first banks in the United Kingdom to operate entirely online. In other words, all banking transactions are done either through Monzo’s website or their native app rather than through visiting a branch.

Because Monzo’s operations are entirely online, they don’t typically offer a paper statement. However, they do allow customers to create a statement right within their app.

Once you’re logged into your account, click on the Home icon in the menu bar. To the right of your transaction feed, click on “Manage.” From there, you’ll see something called “Statement History.” That will allow you to see the monthly Monzo bank statement for your account.
Monzo also allows customers to export statements in various formats. Once again, click on the Home icon in the menu bar. Now click on the bar chart icon on the top right side of your screen. Finally, tap on “Export & bank statements,” which will be toward the bottom. You can export into CSV and QIF file formats, which are helpful if you’re managing finances in other applications. You can also export into PDF, which is excellent for printing. All statements generated from the app are official, so you shouldn’t ever need a paper statement mailed to you. However, if you do need one for something like a mortgage application, Monzo can help. Tap on the Help icon in the menu bar, then search for “getting a bank statement.” You can then chat with a Monzo agent about your needs.
